This situation is becoming really common here in Kuwait, especially when summer comes crawling back to our city. It seems that the outrageous high temperatures are becoming unbearable not only for mankind, but also for CARS ..!!. As i said, these incidents have repeated themselves time and time again especially last summer as i heard of them happening for no less than 6 or 7 times.

This incident specifically had a very interesting side to it. My friend’s brother was out with his father during the afternoon for something like 2 or 3 hours on a sunny Monday. They did what they had to do but when they returned to their area, they both witnessed  a large black cloud floating somewhere near their house. This is where they knew that something was wrong. As they approached to their house they were surprised that my friend’s brother’s RANGE ROVER was burning like Hell !!

They called the fire brigade to save what was leftover of the car but the whole thing was just a piece of “well done grilled ” car.

What was really interesting and soul lifting is the following:

The only thing that did not burn in all of this car fire was the laptop case with the laptop inside it, Do you want to know why ..?

There is a new sport created by some people, in which basically a person runs on the surface of water. The sport is called Liquid Mountaineering. There are some historical statements that suggest that this sport was created by the Greek, but now it is recreated and it’s one of the most impossible looking activities that anyone has seen.

The sport is all about running on water. Science tells us that with the right angle and speed anything can bounce off the surface of water for some time before it sinks. The perfect example is of a rock that when thrown with the right amount of speed, spin and angle, it starts bouncing on water and touches the surface many times before sinking. If we could follow the same set of rules that enable the rock to bounce, we can bounce too.

To tell you the truth, I still think its impossible.

This story took place in Beirut, Lebanon. In a small place called Kater Maya, near Beirut, lived a married couple called  Yousef (80 yrs) and his wife Kawthar (80 yrs also) and there two grandsons Amna (9 yrs) and Zeina (7 yrs). One day, while, Amna and Zeina’s mother, Rania, was at her work, a stranger came and knocked the door of their house. The grandfather yousef opened the door and welcomed this stranger in. What he didn’t know is that stranger had a painful secret carried with him and he was going to reveal it soon. After they sat down, the stranger turned out to be an Egyptian and was the butcher of the neighborhood.

Anyhow, when they sat down the grandfather was shocked that this guy was here to tell him that he raped his daughter, Rania, the mother of his grandchildren, when she was 13. What was even more shocking is that after all those years he just figured out that he has to correct his mistake and ask for her hand. Of course, the grandfather refused to accept this. The Egyptian guy here was full of anger so he took out his knife and stabbed the old man and his wife. Also, he continued the murder by stabbing the two small children. A few hours from the murder the police came and figured out who the murderer was and took him into custody.

Now for the interesting part. The next day, the police brought the convict to re-act his crime only to be surprised that all the people of the neighborhood of Katar Maya were there and waiting since early in the morning. As soon as the police arrived, the crowd attacked the police car and managed to to rip the convict out of the car and they all attacked him and stabbed brutally till he died on the spot. After that, they hanged his body on a car and cruised around the neighborhood so that everybody could watch him and to be (3ibra liman la ya3taber). Lastly, they hung him on an electricity pylon and left him hanging there from his neck.
